What does beta mean, anyways?

I don't feel like waiting a month for a 'final' release, so I used the first releases of the chapters and put together Spice & Wolf vol 7 on my own. The quality probably won't improve too much from the first to the final, and I'm gonna end up replacing it with the yen press version in December, anyways.
The translator (group?) working on it is really good, though, despite their release date lies >.< (lies to me, because I check every day, hoping for something). They deal the volumes out super quick (compared to every other translator I've come across, who are all now on some sort of hiatus). There are particular editing quirks that get on my nerves that I go back and fix, but only a few. The quality is pretty good, compared to how jumpy the translations are for Baka Test.
