How to Read: Nook or Sony

It's going to take a little more effort to read the manga on either your Nook or Sony Reader, but nothing too strenuous.

To Read Manga on Nook or Sony Reader:

you'll need: Calibre E-book Manager

Step 1) choose a volume on this blog and download from MediaFire (.zip format)
Step 2) rename the .zip folder's extension to .cbz [just click on it an rename yourself]
Step 3) open up Calibre and add the .cbz file (drag & drop, or use the 'add books' button)
Step 4) click on the .cbz book and then click on convert books at the top [picture here]
Step 5) this is where you change all the output specifications, bear with me and I'll explain it all:
  1. [Metadata] (A) change output fomat to .epub (B) change book title and author, in this case it would be Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 04 and the author Arakawa Hiromu (C) check the box that reads 'Use cover from source file'
  2. [Page Setup] skip down to the page setup section. Make sure (A) the input is set to default and (B) the output is set to your reader (Nook (or Sony))
  3. [Comic Input] skip down to the comic input section. Make sure (A) all of the boxes in the picture are checked/unchecked and (B) the output format is set to .jpg
  4. Press 'OK' in the bottom right (C) and wait while Calibre converts (it could take a bit)
  5. [Open the path] and then copy or move the .epub file to your reader
Not too difficult, right :)

To Read Light Novels on Nook or Sony Reader:

I made all of them specifically for the Kindle, so I can't guarantee it'll look like I intended it to after a conversion. Anyways, if you want, convert it to an .epub using Calibre. You can mess with the settings, it probably just needs all of the 'extras' to be disabled...
