Yatta!

Finally! These two weeks seemed, well actually, they seemed very short, but I feel like this project....well, actually I feel like I've barely been working on it. Funny how my sense of time is, but finally the Tsubasa project is finished. Maybe someday I'll do the guidebooks, but not until I've got some extra money.

Tsubasa volume 28

This one's considerably more crappy than the rest. It's literally the world's biggest single volume of manga. It's huge, and because of that, it was impossible to scan all of the gutter no matter how hard I pushed down. Plus, there aren't decent scans of the raw out that I could use to switch with. It's not bad, though.
A really great series, I think, even if it's just for Kuro-poo, who's always so cool :)

Tsubasa 27 +

Wooooh. I've never seen so many double pages and pages without text before....all in a single volume. It's really crazy. BUT, that did help me finish Tsubasa vol 27 faster than I would have. Volume 28 is about the size of 2 volumes in one, so it'll definitely take longer than the rest have. Plus, since I finished reading the series, I've lost the fire I had for it. So, 28 will probably get done by Saturday?
It's really a great series. I highly recommend it and xxxHOLiC.

Tsubasa: ALMoST DoNE

I got done a little late yesterday, so I decided to release vols 11 & 12 of Tsubasa today as a double. I've only got 27 & 28 left, but editing those will ruin the story for me...

Few Updates:
The new Kekkaishi came out about a week ago, and I should have it soon.
Soul Eater vol 21 is coming out (tomorrow), so I'll get that up as soon as the raw is available!
Also, all work on Sgt Frog has been stopped for now. I managed to finish vol 1 before I started on Tsubasa, and I'm about halfway through with vol 2. Once I finish Tsubasa this week, I'll be back to work on the frog manga. I still haven't published the page for it, though. I have it ready...

Yay! Another series completely finished: xxxHOLiC vol 19 is done. I guess I could have finished it earlier if I had searched a little harder for translations.

And I put up Tsubasa vol 10 yesterday. Today's a rest day, so I'll start on 11 & 12 tomorrow. I'm gonna finish up those plus 27 & 28 this week to complete the Tsubasa series.

Side note: I'm planning on buying the rest of the Naruto and Bleach (English) guide books, so I may start scanning those in the near future. I was also thinking about doing the Holic and Tsubasa guide books, but I don't really feel like buying those...

Well, I said I'd have more up:

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! vols 31, 33, & 36

This means I'm completely caught up on Reborn!! Unfortunately, volume 31 is missing the pretty under cover.... but I didn't want to withhold it just for that.

Aaaand: Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE vol 6 is done. Took me longer than it should have. Can't promise I'll have 10 up before the end of the week, but I'll try.

February's Almost Over!?!?

Tsubasa vol 15 is done. I finally got the hard copies for all the volumes I'm missing (6-7, 10-12, 27-28). I'm working on volume 7 right now, since BWYS did a chapter already. I'm excited to find out what happens, but it spoils the story when I edit the scans...

Oh, Kekkaishi vol 30 and xxxHOLiC vol 19 came out, but I'm third in line for Kekkaishi, so it could be a while. I should have xxxHOLiC soon, though, so look forward to the ending of a really interesting series :)

Edit: I worked my patootska off and finished Tsubasa vol 7. I'd say that took me about 4 hours...

Well, I've been uploading as best I can today. As you can tell, there are some gaps. The volumes that I'm editing are: 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15, 27, & 28. I'm almost done with 5 (typesetting) and 15 just needs the omake (from the hard copy). The rest, well, I'm not sure. The volumes not listed are done. Be With You Scans did those from the original Japanese volumes (not magazine scans!), so they're really, really nice. I wanted the rest to turn out that nice, too...

Volumes 1-4, 8-9, 13-14, 16-23 are up for now. I'll do 24-26 tomorrow.

I don't know what to put here....

I've finished inspecting Tsubasa. There are about 8 volumes that are super low quality, so I'll withhold those until I fix them. I'll be adding the others, though, today. Big thanks to Be With You Scans, I really like the way they do things. Everything's so neat and clean <3

More News

I've finished watching the Tsubasa anime. Through all 52 episodes, I had decided against doing the manga. Sure, it's a good series, but not addicting enough for that. Then I watched the OVAs. Once you watch those, there's no going back.
So, here I am, announcing that I'll be working on Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. Problem is, all of the translated scans are pretty low quality. That bugs me. I really like this one and want it to be treated well. That means I'm going to have to edit all of the poor quality volumes by typesetting the raws....
Needless to say, this puts Sgt. Frog on the backburner. I'm gonna need some of the hard copies for Tsubasa (to translate some bonus chapters at the end of a few volumes) and editing will probably take a while.
BUT, I'll do my very best. I'm working on this full-steam and will get them done as fast as I can, but it probably won't be fast enough. On top of that, I've got more subtitles to work on. /sigh
How about someone just scan the hard copies for me....? No?....poo
